Senior Customer Account Manager

Duties include but are not limited to development of marketing materials, attendance at tradeshows and conferences, developing pricing proposals and commercial offers and managing RFP responses, acquiring new customers specifically existing Flight Data Monitoring Services clients of other companies/organization will be your primary responsibility you will also sell flight data monitoring/flight data analysis products and services including FDR/CVR/CPDLC/ULB Maintenance Services. Maintaining an opportunity and customer contacts database, increasing our presence on social media, web search engines, linkedin, etc. Provide input into the various development programs from a Sales and Marketing perspective and strategize with respect to IATA collaboration and customer acquisition.

The positions involves international travel.

Potential Candidates must meet the following Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a Canadian Citizen
  • Must have a post graduate degree in an aviation/transportation related field
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years experience directly involved in the operation and/or management of an airline Flight Data Monitoring Program
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience/knowledge of the IATA Flight Data Exchange (FDX) program either from an airline participant perspective or directly with IATA.
  • Must have experience with Safety Management Systems as applied to aviation safety
  • Must be familiar with ICAO/CAST taxonomy for flight data metrics
  • Must be familiar with IOSA audits with respect to flight data monitoring
  • Must have strong customer relationship skills
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have contacts with airlines safety managers worldwide
  • Must be intimate with one or more FDM software systems
  • Must be fluent in English (written and oral), additional languages is an asset
